Pot Luck Supper at 6:00pm

Come join us for an evening of dinner and dancing at the Forest City Club House, at the 2010 Homeschool Family Dance.

All ages welcome.

This country club is warm and inviting with a large stone fireplace and wood floors, this is sure to be an event to remember. Sit by the fire and chat, make new friends, reconnect with other homeschoolers, dance, play games and have fun!

*This is a pot luck event so bring a main dish and either a salad, side dish or dessert to share, remember serving utensils if needed.  Also bring a list of ingredients for each dish, for those guests that limit their diet by choice or need. 

*We will be providing paper goods, music for dancing and games to play if you would like.

*We will be providing beverages.

*If you have a favorite game of your own you would like to share, feel free to bring that along.

*Bring along your favorite music on your ipod or MP3 player for our DJs. Just remember this is a family dance and all music should be appropriate for all age.

Registration fee is $10 per person ages 3 and up and registration deadline is September 1, 2010. Space is limited so reserve early to guarantee your participation in the fun!!  *NO REFUNDS*

* What kind of music do you play?

We do our very best to make sure the play list is appropriate and fun for guests of all ages.  We play music similar to what you would hear at a family wedding.  In other words, popular music from a range of eras, (mostly the 80's 90's, 00's and today, maybe some music from the 50's, 60's, and 70's), and nothing labeled as having "explicit lyrics" on iTunes.

The clubhouse can be found at the intersection of Westview St. and Clay St. in Forest City, NC 28043.

 For those with GPS systems that will not allow them to use an intersection as a destination, use 141 Westview St. Forest City, NC as the address.

Forest City is centrally located to many towns in WNC, and upstate SC.  This means that we have families attend from all over the region.  As a bonus,  hotel accommodations can be easily secured for a reasonable cost.
