Public Relations
Co-director Tami Fox is a homeschool mom of six children who range in age from 16 years to 5 months. She has homeschooled since 2000. She uses an eclectic approach to homeschooling. Tami also owns and operates Discount Home School Supplies from her home. She has also written her first ebook, Overcoming Obstacles While Homeschooling. | 
| | | Support Groups Director Karen Davis has been in and around the homeschooling community for a long time in 6 different states with her husband, Clark, and their four children. They love the Charlotte area and hope to stay put at least until the youngest is graduated from high school. Her favorite homeschool subject is history and her favorite season is high school. Karen’s email address is familiar to many homeschoolers in the greater Charlotte area because one of her passions is sharing information and experience with other homeschoolers as well as those considering homeschooling. | 
| | Treasurer Teri Kuiper, widowed when her three amazing children were very young, has been life learning with them since they were born and has had them at home with her full time since early 2000. With one daughter now graduated and pursuing an internship in another state, and two in community college as dual enrollees, Therese has time now to devote to multiple endeavors, such as co coordinating the statewide Love to Learn Homeschool Conference, co coordinating the Southeast Regional School’s Out Forever Getaway (both under the auspices of the Homeschool Alliance of North Carolina, Inc.), acting as liaison for the HA-NC membership with the NCDNPE, fulfilling her duties as membership coordinator for the statewide homeschooling group North Carolina Families Learning Together, Inc., and providing background support for her teens, as they step into positions of responsibility within the latter group. Teri thrives on travel, reading, spending time with her children, researching and starting new businesses, vermicomposting, raising chickens, building and creating things with her hands and discovering new things to try. | Events Director Pam Genant Mother of 2 sons who have always been homeschooled in the state of North Carolina, Pam is a founding member of NCUnschoolers and the Network Coordinator for North Carolina Families Learning Together Inc, as well as a member of two local homeschool support groups. Pam lives with her husband and two sons in Burke County, and started their homeschooling journey in 1994. |

| Internet publications director Lori Barklage is a homeschooling mom to three delightful life-learners - ages 13, 11, and 9 - and wife to another (older but still young) life-learner for over 20 years. The family lives, loves, and learns in Catawba NC. Lori stays busy with her family and enjoys offering support to those new to or interested in homeschooling. | Secretary Julie is a homeschooling mom to two wonderful unschooled children in Mooresville, NC. She enjoys time with her husband and children, hiking, gardening, knitting, reading and camping as well as participating in the PATH homeschool group, Families Learning Together, NC Unschoolers group, Unifour Home Learning, Explore and Discover, as well as participating in the online yahoo list Consensual-Living. |
