Alexander County has two support groups...one devoted primarily to the 12 and under ages, and the other for teens. We try to do field trips once a month along with periodical parties, field days, and park days in the summer. We also do group unit studies. You are only responsible for the cost of your family to participate in the activities you want to join in doing. We have one mom who does testing at the end of the year for a small fee, a violin teacher who offers private lessons, a woman who gives private piano lessons, a gentleman who offers private tutoring and group classes all associated with our group.

Henderson County Homeschool Association
