Homeschool Alliance of North Carolina

Membership

1. A.                Membership is open to all independent homeschoolers registered with the North Carolina Department of Non Public Education, who support the mission and goals of HA-NC.
2. B.                 Member homeschooling families will retain the right to vote until all homeschool students of the household have graduated.
3. C.                 Membership in HA-NC may continue, sans voting rights, after all homeschool
   students in the household have graduated.
4. D.                For voting purposes, only one member vote shall be counted from each member family.
1. 1.         Ten percent of current membership shall constitute a quorum, with a
   simple majority needed for action to be taken.
2. 2.        A minimum notice of 24 hours shall be given before any vote is decided.           
5. E.                 Members must reside in North Carolina.
6. F.                  Members must provide HA-NC with their name, mailing address, phone number, e mail address and must pay any membership fees. [This information will not be sold, published or distributed for use outside of HA-NC.]
7. G.                HA-NC membership may be revoked at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
